A grasshopper script was setup in Rhino to allow all components and hardware to be adjustable by given parameters that were anticipated to change during the course of the project. Once the site was ready, a 3D scan of the existing space was taken utilizing a Leica scanner. The 3D scan was then superimposed on the existing 3D model to show any conflicts. The model was quickly adjusted using the grasshopper script and fabrication drawings and programs of the parts were sent to the shop floor. The ceiling components were then milled from sheets of Cross Laminated Timber with all required machining and sent to the site to be installed.
