The software systems at Madjek Inc. were converted from an Inventor centric to Solidworks centric engineering environment. In this conversion, the entire PDM database, templates, standards, and parametric tools were reengineered from scratch in order to provide a much more efficient and automated means of creating models as well as shop drawings for manufacturing. On average, engineers now finish entire packages of models and drawings in one fourth the amount of time in comparison to recorded times prior to implementation.

Use of specific plugins have also allowed for increased detail in models for connectors, joints, lamination, and finishes. And the integration of workflows in the PDM process have decreased versioning errors while at the same time increasing data security.
